I know I feel very strongly about the importance of conserving biodiversity, but I really can't pin down why it is so important to me, or how to make the argument to convince others that it is important. Can philosophy help?

Are there any arguments for the existence of God which the panel would view as philosophically legitimate?

Is feeling good the only thing that has value in itself?

Does the equation "e to the power i x pi = -1" have any physical meaning? Is there a meaning waiting to be discovered?

Seeing that there are a great many virtues such as truth, justice, honor, strength, etc., what is the real meaning of virtue, and which is most important?

Would you agree that a cat or dog can love a human in the same way humans can love in a non-romantic sense?

Is philosophy of any actual use in everyday life?

Is it possible for a statement to be partially true and partially false?

If I could produce a perfect copy of a famous work of art, could it have an equal value to the original? Furthermore, if I was then able to mix up the two items, would they then have an equal value?

If a person claims to be both pro-life and pro-choice regarding the abortion controversy, is that person necessarily practicing relativistic moralism? The person in question claims to believe that abortion is morally wrong. However, he also claims that despite his personal beliefs he believes it is a choice each woman should be allowed to make.
