Submission Guidelines
Most likely, your submission will not be posted if it isn't intelligible; if it's too vague or general (like "What is evil?" or "What is a closed system?"); if it's a question about religious doctrine narrowly understood (like Why did God create the Heavens?"); if it's question that is clearly scientific in nature (like a question about photons); if it concerns a very specific personal problem that doesn't relate to more general issues; your question seems like an exam question or a paper topic; if your question indicates that you do already have access to many philosophical resources; or if it's a question that's already been asked (use the Search box or browse through the Topics to determine if a question very like yours has been posted). Please remember, a rejected question isn't necessarily a bad question! It's just that we have to choose, from among the many questions we get, those for which philosophers can provide helpful responses. Finally, know that all unanswered questions are automatically deleted after one month.
